Um, yes it does deserve a re-post, although I object to the notion that it’s just women drivers that are idiots behind the wheel. I generally park a little more like the last one… What? It works better if you give it a little bit of gas (helps with the turning velocity)
I have to say though, I would have gotten out and parked the car for that woman as well. No, I actually may have just parked there while she was pulling forward to try again. Idiots don’t deserve good parking spots if it takes that many tries!
So I’m a couple of hours late, but c’est la vie. Yesterday was a headache-filled day (literally). It started out fun – field trip to see an African Folk Tale performance… but I think the ride in the back of a school bus did me in. Ugh.
Well, here goes…

I was going through my email this morning, and there was something in the MommyCommunity.com one that caught my eye… she has created a meme to help explain why we blog. Want to join in? If so, head over to MommyCommunity.com!
Onto the meme:
Do you blog?
~ Why, yes, I do! I actually have *ahem* 5 blogs, but I only really pay attention to two-and-a-half. Time issues, interest, etc.
Why do you blog?
~ Well, I started blogging to go along with my handbag business – an easier to get the word out instantly that through the newsletter. Then I added in a gift guide, and a blog was the logical choice to post reviews and ideas. I like to cook, and my SIL likes to get copies of my recipes… I had made her a CD of them, but after a couple of moves it got lost. I also had a computer crash and lost most of them, so I decided to add in a recipe blog so that I could keep track of my fav. recipes and share them with family and friends at the same time. However, once you start blogging, you find that there are times that you have something you want to say, but it just doesn’t quite fit onto a business blog about handbags or a gift review blog… thus the personal blog.
A late Manic Monday… hey, I still have almost 3 hours here!
What is your favorite candy?
~ um, chocolate? OK, fine. The Madagascar bar from Theo Chocolates. Dark, fruity and delicious.
Name one thing that you’d want to receive as a gift for Valentine’s day.
~ Please see my last answer A Theo Chocolates Mad. bar… OR a 3400 Phinney Nib Brittle bar… nah, the Theo is 3x bigger. (made by the same company though…) But for V-day, a case of the stuff might be nice, rather than just a bar… *hint, hint*
Can we truly love someone who loves another?
~ My loving someone has nothing to do with whether that love is reciprocated. It is MY emotion. Of course, it’s always nice if they love us in return!
~ After all, God loves every human on the planet… even though many claim to detest Him. God is love, so the final answer is… Absolutely.
it’s official… I’m an un-girly girl. As if I didn’t already know that…
I plugged this fabulous blog in over at Gender Analyzer to see just how “girly” I really am, and I must say that I am quite pleased with the results!
Results
We guess http://blog.alexandari.com is written by a woman (57%), however it’s quite gender neutral.
57% sure is pretty low, considering… I mean, I talk about my kids, don’t I? But, as I said, I kinda like that feeling. I’m a woman, yes, but pink ain’t my favorite color. I think the princess thing is a huge joke, and I’ve only recently started wearing make-up more often than once per week (but that has more to do with having an occasional meeting outside of the house again…) Nope, I’m not a girly-girl. Hallelujah!
Oh, and in the grand scheme of things, neither are my girls (yes!).
Want to find out how masculine or feminine you are? Well, your blog anyway…
