Several times the past couple of months, I've had the pleasure of having visitors standing directly in my line of sight. Visitors who apparently hate contemporary worship, because they stand there, frowning, armed folded, never, never, never singing. I ask the same thing you ask, how can they do that? As contagious as praise can be, I just don't understand how people can do that.

Happy Day was not a favorite for me at first. But then I heard Tim Hughes sing it live. And then I understood the song. Then we did it at Easter last year and it was wonderful. It's in our semi-regular rotation. That way it feels more fresh when we do it.

Jen - that would mean I would have to listen to myself (not a favorite pastime, I assure you - but possibly very helpful.) I am also curious about Karen... may have to try that next week. Anybody but me on the verses would be an improvement, it's just soooooo stinkin' low. An alto I most definitely am not!

Yeah, by Majesty I wasn't paying any attention to anyone else... it's just one of those songs that gets me just about every time.

Oddly enough, I even enjoyed singing Trading My Sorrows today... I guess it had been long enough! Just don't tell Chris ;)
