Great idea! My son's clothes have almost all been hand-me-downs that I need to return, so I haven't gotten to experiment yet with consignment shops. Still, I love the idea that it's like a clothing library. You just check out what you need, use it, and then sell it back for another item! Thanks for joining us again this week for Thrifty Green Thursday!

I love those kind of stores. We have one in town that I need to check out again, since my 5 month old is outgrowing everything. Unfortunately a lot of my stuff gets passed to friends and family with newborns, but consignment shops are still great to check out for bargains. And since kids outgrow things so quickly, a lot of the clothes are probably barely worn.

Sixty dollars in store credit--now that is impressive. I don't know if you saw my Green Baby Guide post about consignment shops last week. I was complaining that they gave me TWO DOLLARS in store credit for my bag of clothes! It sounds like you either have better clothes or better shops than I do!

Thanks for joining us for Thrifty Green Thursday. (I am not sure if your link is working quite right. I clicked on it and it sent me to your site, but it didn't show any post. I went to your homepage and found it that way!)
