My son's clothes have almost all been hand-me-downs that I need to return, so I haven't gotten to experiment yet with consignment shops. Still, I love the idea that it's like a clothing library. We have one in town that I need to check out again, since my 5 month old is outgrowing everything. Unfortunately a lot of my stuff gets passed to friends and family with newborns, but consignment shops are still great to check out for bargains. And since kids outgrow things so quickly, a lot of the clothes are probably barely worn. I love those kind of stores.
